Farming deviate fish in any of the Monut oasis and then selling it on the auction house to the Alliance, or on your own auction house if you’re already Alliance is a great way to make some extra silver extremely early on. Here are a few extra tips I found helped me acquire more gold. Get the largest bags you can reasonably afford because if you can’t carry loot home you’re throwing items and money away. Get an add-on that tells you the vendor price of the items, for example Auctionator does. If none of the quest rewards are useful to you then you can choose the one with the highest vendor value. Silk Cloth is very common and cheap from players constantly farming Scarlet Monastery, so vendoring Silk Bandages is often more lucrative than Auctions. Not only is this useful for managing Auctions of valuable items you lebel, it is also great for keeping your main character’s bags clear. All you need to find when questing is a mail box. Empty your bags often! DON’T hoard junk in your bank. There’s point in keeping old, below your level weapons and armour items. Vendor .

Welcome to our Classic WoW gold farming guide. And while life is pretty expensive in Azeroth, there are a lot of ways of making gold in Classic. Keep this page bookmarked for updates. These mobs drop Murloc Fin , Thick Murloc Scale , a wide variety of fish useful for cooking or selling and a lot of green items. These sell for g and can be farmed reliably for hours. The are has also a lot of quests in that area so you can combine them to farm effectively. To fish reliably you have to be at least level 75 Fishing but I recommend level it to for a better catch rate. The perfect fishing spot is the Wailing Caverns instance in The Barrens. The average cast time for a catch is around 30 seconds this is an estimate. The Deviate Fish stack sells on average for about g Vanilla data. If you have Recipe: Savory Deviate Delight , you can do way more than that since Savory Deviate Delight sells for around g per piece in some cases more.

In the Graveyard, the first room you enter has Large Solid Chest at the end of the hall. You can go to the chest without aggroing any mobs, but to play safe, you can kill the first 2 mobs. The trick is, you have to be in a party with someone. The deal is, go there, loot the chest, leave the instance, invite your friend, reset the instance, leave the party. Rinse and repeat. Besides the cloth materials, you can get a lot of green items and some blue ones. You also get a chance of getting Scarlet Chestpiece which can drop in all the SM wings it can sell very well at the AH. Mobs in Silithus are an excellent source of materials, gold and items. Elementals in these areas drop a lot of green and blue items, gold and other vendor junk but most importantly they drop essences. Keep in mind you have to be at least level to grind the Stormers effectively.

Professions

Glad I’m rolling lock. But then again, the warlock epic mount is still around g after quest mats that you buy from the imp and off AH, plus all the time spent doing the quests, trucking back n forth between kalimdor and eastern kingdoms, etc. Glad I’m rolling lock, but then again, the warlock epic mount is still around g after quest mats plus all the time spent doing the quests, trucking back n forth between kalimdor and eastern kingdoms, etc. They’ll be crying for much different reasons then Your point? I’ve known since day one. Doesn’t bother me. Even though we already knew this would be the mount system version I am glad to have it confirmed. This way puts a lot more importance on your moint choice.

2. Which classes should learn Skinning?

.

Welcome to Reddit,

Not actually common because the Aethril R3 Perk has been nerfed. If you want mount money at 30, make your life easier and take two gathering professions as your primaries when you start your character. It was just south of OLD dalaran, before it teleporting to Northrend. Then you could scroll through the list, manually search for and buy things you thought could make a profit, then relist. Even if you accidentally send the wrong item to the bank alt, it can be returned-to-sender for free. Look several levels above and below your own for bargains. It was also possible to flip things but without auction house add on’s it was more difficult but still profitable. When submitting video guides give a brief text-based overview of the video. Although you usually don’t want to buy items to sell from vendor, some items can be sold for much more than you pay for them from the vendor. If you can keep producing the same item over and over, sell cheaply yet make a good amount of the item, you will reliably make a lot of money by volume. Nobody seemed to know of the cave since I ever only saw a couple people show up for a quest mob but it was one of my biggest gold income spots. It’s very quick, due to the fact that sending mail between characters on the same account is always instant. You can make a tidy sum by selling these items in the Auction House.

1. How to quickly level up your Skinning 1-300?

A friend of mine recently mentioned the time when I would whisper him for group invites to reset the instance every mounr minutes. Back then the weapon had a chance to make your next spell cast instant, and was highly sought after by certain classes. Mooncloth cool downs. Focus on items that will most likely be wanted and bought. Make cautious forays into unknown areas to test the lveel. Please note that this guide represents the accumulated wisdom of many people.

Epic Mounts

A place to discuss the economy in World of Warcraft. Discussion should focus on the theory of making gold in World of Warcraft.

Note: New watercooler threads are posted on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday then stickied on each subsequent day. With the AH and all the items we could farm for various things, making money now seems easy. However, during Vanilla, how was it done?

I remember being a scrub and just vendoring things all the time. I never went beyond level 30 in Vanilla, but I remember farming so much Spider’s Silk. Those things were like two gold. I got so rich so fast.

And they will be in even more demand once the Legion pre-patch drops and people want to collect transmogs. Azshara farming dreamfoil and mountain silver sage with my great white kodo. Moint making a trip around winterspring and burning steps for the black lotus two hour spawn. That’s what I did as.

As a holy priest then, it took a while to kill those dudes and it was on a pvp server. Probably not the best spot but I had fun. I farmed hearthglen on a T2 decked out Mage before 2. I would Aoe the non elites over and over again, as well as very easily solo the elites. I found a couple epics my time there and was probably one of the richest on the server. Also made good friends with a Chinese farmer that would also farm there, and we would help recdit.

another out when needing it. I farmed the plauge lands for bone fragments and other stuff to sell to naxx raiders that needed it for raiding and for their T3 turn in.

I was a ret paladin so the plauge lands was the only place where I could kill things faster than one mob per half hour. I wish I had thought about that. I had a ret paladin I was playing and all I did was vendor those things since I wasn’t in a raiding guild. So many fragments When I hit 38 for the first time, I realized I would have to buy the g mount once I hit level I had to start planning for gold gain!

So what I did was play for 3 days straight in Dustwallow Marsh just north of Theramore, there’s a beach which had these turtles. I played my hunter that was a Skinner. They were worth so much! Like multiple silvers per stack!

After three days I was 41 and was finally able to afford a mount. Took me hours to decide which of the Night Elf mounts I wanted to take, ended up with the black striped one because it was different but still same to my pet which was the dotted night elf cat starting zone cat. I didn’t play vanilla but I always hear about people vendoring levek like. Didn’t they have an auction house? Didn’t people need these materials and purchase them for more than vendor price? They did, definitely.

I bought stuff off of redditt. AH all the time. It just never crossed my mind that I could sell them as. And when it did for the first time, I didn’t think I could ask as high of a price as I saw on there so I sold for really low.

Just one! In Ironforge! I farmed arcane crystals and made llevel bars, Felcloth was decent as. It was also possible to flip things but without auction house add on’s it was more difficult but still profitable. Lots of farming!

I managed to make foor decent chunk of gold using early Auctioneer to flip items. I don’t remember exactly how it worked, but it would run the scan and then spit out the results into your chat window. Then you could scroll through the list, manually search for and buy things you thought could make a profit, then relist.

Paid for my druid’s Warden Staff, as well as epic riding for myself and a guildmate before I got sick of. Auctioneer took forever to scan, but it was like an ancient version of sniper. I remember it was super easy to make big flips on gear.

Pretty much anything of blue quality, an epic if you were ridiculously lucky, any low zite shoulders even gray qualitylow level weapons, greens if they had good «of the» stats attached to.

Most quest rewards were crap, so players constantly tried to upgrade their slots via the AH so they could level faster.

Encrypted Twilight Texts from Silithus. Thorium Ore from Silithus. Iron Ore and Mithril sold pretty well on my reddi.t also — Thousand Needles. Un’goro Soil — You know. Liferoot along the Hillsbrad river, Turtle Meat and vendor shell pieces from the turtles along same river. I also have fond memories of farming at the main cauldron in WPL for runecloth and bone fragments. Had to fight off a number of botting hunters and frost mages but that was life. Not a huge money maker but I greatly enjoyed farming Volatile Rum in Tanaris in the hidden omney cove.

Me in Vanilla: «Put stuff in the auction house?? Why would I do that and wait for my gold? I’m vendoring that for that fast, sweet moolah» Oi Fused wiring. I would make target dummies which would drop them occasionally when they expired and could be looted. If I remember right, the only other place you could get it was gnomeregan which was an epic instance even for a level My sales led me to a regular customer who pvp’d all day and paid well for a stack of kevel potions, which took two hours each day to fish up enough oily blackmouth to make.

I didn’t really focus on making gold very much back then I do remember farming mainly ore and herbs. I also remember making absurd amounts of gold during the opening of the gates by selling items needed for the phase we were in.

Someone asked a similar question 2 months ago and got quite a few responses so if you’d like to read some check it. I would occasionally craft things for tips, but he was mostly a gold-sink. A friend of mine recently mentioned the time when I would whisper him for group invites to reset the instance every 10 minutes.

Yeah, this is what i did. Just keep questing through the end level zones, sell blue BOEs. Oh plus the fucking skettis dailies. I played Horde in very early vanilla WOW. As a tailor, I quickly learned they did not have a good spot to farm wool cloth easy. So, I figured out it could be done in the stockade in Stormwind. This is back before teleporting to dungeons, so it was a difficult trip.

So I spent time farming to fof a base supply. ALL I kept was the wool cloth. Then I bought what was on the auction house and posted what I had farmed and what I resold. It’s hilarious looking back on it. Anyhow, my downfall came when I had a real reedit. friend playing and I finally gave in and told him how I made gold. He had a eww. more free time than me, so he over farmed and crashed the market.

I still give him hell about this to this day! Anyhow, I was never super rich, but it paid for my fast mount and left me some spending gold. Woah, I totally forgot about things like. Horde would of had one hell of a time getting wool cloth. Talk about taking advantage, I guess the closest was Wailing Caverns?

Well, that was the thing, horde didn’t really have an equivalent dungeon. Their dungeons dropped either mostly linen, with some wool or mostly silk, with some wool. Stockades was mostly wool, with a small amount of linen. The best alteration spot I found was near the yeti cave in I can’t even remember the ,aking name lol.

It was just south of OLD dalaran, before it teleporting to Northrend. There were some humans there that dropped an okay. Nothing close to Stockades though!
