So I’ve finally gotten a decent footing in this mod, starting to build a solid army with a good amount of high tier troops and decent equipment for. At makkng point, after getting lucky in a couple tourneys, I was able to amass around 20k. With food and high guid costs, my cash is rapidly depleting. My go-to money maker has always been winning tourneys, but they’re just so unforgiving in this mod due to them almost always being tied to feasts, which every lord and his mother attends, and most of the lords have ungodly armor and stats so I usually end up losing.
It’s also difficult for me to find decent bandit groups to prey on no matter where I go, except for conqufst the freaking ocean, which I’m not even gonna touch after losing half my army in a sea battle against like 12 Norse raiders everyone basically just jumps ship and dies in the water.
So how do you make your money in this mod? I read a post on the forums about running salt from Lashiek to the High Elves which apparently gives decent yield I’ll test this out when I get home from work tonight. Any other trade routes you guys have figured out? Or good areas to kill mid-sized bandit groups? I like troll hunting. They spawn all over the eastern snowy area below the chaos castles. Trade in this mod is profitable. Salt from scavenblight to goros chaos town I forget the name nabs you about 3k for instance.
